Civil Ceremonies in Looe at Commonwood Manor

Choose the perfect spot to say ‘I do’

We are licensed for civil ceremonies in various public rooms within the Manor, all overlooking the terrace and the beautiful Looe River with its spectacular views.

For the ultimate romantic location, there’s the Tikki Hut at the end of our croquet lawn. Set against a backdrop of the lush, wooded slopes of the Morval Estate and with views across the breathtaking East Looe Valley, we can think of nowhere better to wed… unless you want to get married on your very own private island!

  • The room was magnificent with sweeping views over the River Looe. The mansion house is gorgeous with a lovely lounge, wood fire & french doors leading out to a huge terrace. Beautiful 5-star breakfast each morning. Louise was a great source of local info & very considerate host.

  • Louise and Simon were absolutely fantastic hosts and made us feel extremely welcome in their beautiful home. If you are planning on visiting Looe, look no further! Lovely room, lovely view and lovely people.

  • Louise and Simon’s house is amazing. Their hospitality puts many top hotels to shame. Louise is so friendly. Nothing was a problem for her. If we’d known earlier we’d have booked for a longer stay. All the family treated us like old friends. Highly recommended.
